That is the list price...just try to find one AT that price...In the Washington, DC area one went for a million dollars at the Mercedes dealer...not that many are available.
Maybe the Hiltons had a way to get it at a lower price, but from what I understand the demand for them is great even with that list price as a point-of departure. I cannot imagine what the ins. must be in Southern Cal on it.
PH having one is a major waste of an fine automobile.

After seeing the McLaren at the Toronto International Auto Show, I saw my first "real" McLaren on the streets of Toronto last week. A lovely little silver number parked on College St. in Toronto's trendy Little Italy. I was shocked I tell you shocked! that the owner took it out in the rain.

In response to point 1, the demand is not big for that car. Before the car was released, dealers were advertising for ridiculous amounts of money. But now, you can get the car for under list price, easy.

Last weekend in L.A. I had the pleasure too actually see Mrs. Paris Hilton driving by in her new Mercedes SLR Mclaren at Rodeo Dr.... It was very pretty sight!!!! The Mercedes AND HER!!!! Sorry that I cannot upload the picture I took at this page :-(
