They should throw in a little Agent Orange while they are at it. Risk life in Iraq just to come home and get mouth / tongue / esophageal / lung cancer 10 years later? NO THANKS.

Eric

Comments on Cigars To The Troops

As somebody who is currently serving in the Marine Corps, I can attest to the fact that regardless of what you might think about the harmful effects of smoking, the troops will GREATLY appreciate it. They want to be appreciated, and a small comfort of home. Sending cigars to them will not make them a smoker if they already aren't. And those that are smokers, will appreciate it even more. They will thank you and enjoy the chance to remove themselves from the stresses of life, even only for a few minutes.

Dana

Comments on Cigars To The Troops

Fair enough. I guess that the people that volunteer for this type of duty are more concerned with patriotic duty than self-preservation. I am glad there are people out there that are will to do this. I think I'd rather send a gallon of ice cream, but given the circumstances, I'm guessing a cigar will hold up better. Either way, I just hope they understand they are appreciated.

Eric

Comments on Cigars To The Troops

Hi

I'm station in Kubal afghanistan. Boy, were they a hit. I passed them out to our resident cigar smokers in the Battalion and everyone loved the idea that someone out there cares about what we are doing over here and the sacrifices our men in service make. I saved one for myself, as well and it was a very creamy smoke and full of flavor. I think Clay could easily sell these cigars at 5-20 bucks apiece, but instead he gives them to the men and women that dedicate their lives to keeping America safe and free.

My kevlar's off to you, Mr. Carlton.

Captain Jaysen Warner

Comments on Cigars To The Troops

Great JOB! we at Operation from the Heart applaud you sir....

We also have been sending care packages to the troops for 2 years that ALWAYS include cigars.

NICE JOB!

Smitty
